TDDE45 Software Design and Construction

Seminar 2: Describing and using design patterns (LAB1)

Preparations

Conduct the first lab and share the code (and answers to the questions) with the lab assistant (send an email notification) and the other pairs in your group latest 24 hours before the seminar. Your submission should be a realistic attempt at solving the lab; there may be some parts you misunderstood or failed to solve (in that case, include some of your discarded ideas or non-working solutions in the comments).

Try to understand what the other pairs did. Briefly look at their assignments and code (should take around 30 minutes).

The seminar

For the first half of the seminar, you will discuss your work with other students who performed the same task.

For the second half the seminar, you will discuss together in your group of 6 students. Present the code, why it is implemented in a certain way, and how to possibly improve it.

Finally, some general discussion.
