Labs are in pairs; the same pair will be a part of the Seminar group of 6. You decide in your Seminar group which task each pair chooses for Lab 1 and then the sequence below is fixed.

Group that chose Task A in Lab 1 will continue with:
- A (Lab2, Missions and Resources), ALL (Lab 3), B (Lab 4, Embedded Languages), ALL (Lab 5), ALL (Lab 6)

Group that chose Task B in Lab 1 will continue with:
- B (Lab2, Model), ALL (Lab 3), A (Lab 4, Build Systems), ALL (Lab 5), ALL (Lab 6)

Group that chose Task C in Lab 1 will continue with:
- C (Lab2, Communication and Stuff), ALL (Lab3), C (Lab4, Vector Graphics), ALL (Lab 5), ALL (Lab6)

The course webpages are in the process of being updated. This year the lectures will be on campus, seminars on Zoom and labs on campus. Check the course schedule from the menu on the left.

Make sure that you are registered to the course before the course start in order to get course information, links and passwords to Zoom, etc. If you cannot register to the course because you need to go through study counsellors, email the examiner to be manually added to the mailing lists.

2022‑08‑28  Course info HT1 2022

The course webpages are in the process of being updated. This year the lectures will be on campus, seminars on Zoom and labs on campus (except for students that need to travel). Check the course schedule from the menu on the left.

Make sure that you are registered to the course before the course start in order to get course information, links and passwords to Zoom, etc. If you cannot register to the course because you need to go through study counsellors, email the examiner to be manually added to the mailing lists.

2021‑08‑10  Course info HT1 2021

Since teaching at a distance is still recommended when possible, the seminars are given through Zoom. The first lecture will be given live via Zoom. The content of the subsequent lectures will be available as recordings from HT1 2020. Scheduled lectures (F) in the schedule will be conducted as a Q&A session (so you can ask about the contents of the lecture) and course information (what you are expected to perform this week). Labs will be conducted in physically at campus with possibility for students in Norrkping to get help via Discord and/or Zoom.

Make sure that you are registered to the course before the course start in order to get course information, passwords to Zoom, and links to lectures. If you cannot register to the course because you need to go through study counsellors, email the examiner to be manually added to the mailing lists.

Note: Lisam is not used in this course. Do not try looking for the course in there.

2020‑12‑14  Computer exam are canceled due to covid-19

Since we are not allowed to hold the regular computer exam in January, the deadline for the course will be extended (as was explained at the start of the course). This means you can get a grade of 3 by handing in your lab and reflection reports until February 1.

I offer oral examinations over Zoom (see email sent to the course mailing list for conditions).

2020‑08‑31  Welcome to the first lecture

The first lecture is conducted on Zoom (see the link in the schedule; there will be no password for this first session). This will be a double lecture 13-17 (was scheduled 13-15 initially, but that will not be enough time).

2020‑08‑06  Distance mode 2020

Since social distancing rules are still in effect, this course will be given in distance mode unless there are changes to the rules.

Make sure that you are registered to the course before the course start in order to get course information. Preliminary setup as below:

Lectures and seminars will be conducted over Zoom (the password will be sent via email).

Labs will be conducted over Discord for queuing supervision (with a link to your Zoom room) and general questions.

Note: Lisam is not used in this course. Do not try looking for the course in there.

18/10  Exam instructions available

The template for the upcoming exam is now available.

9/10  Lab 6 available

All labs have now opened up on Gitlab.

2/10  Lab 5 available

Lab 5 has now opened up on Gitlab.

25/9  Lab 4 available

Lab 4 has now opened up on Gitlab.

19/9  Lab 3 available

Lab 3 has now opened up on Gitlab.

10/9  Some updates

Added expected content in a reflection report, and clarified that preparation for seminars should be submitted by email just as labs should be.

Also, note that you should need to give Reporter access to be able to see a shared repository (not Guest access as Gitlab documentation suggests). Do not use gitlab.ida.liu.se; fork repositories directly on gitlab.liu.se instead.

2/9  Welcome

Welcome to the first edition of the course. The homepage is still under construction, but the first two weeks of content should be available (except lecture slides which will be published after each lecture).

9/6  New course

The web pages are generated automatically and have in some cases a very rudimentary content.
