# Use of Microsoft Teams
We will be using Microsoft Teams in this course, so you should download the
client and log in using your LiU e-mail address. You can download the
client here:
It is possible to use Microsoft Teams using a web browser but the dedicated app is recommended.
If you have not used Microsoft Teams before, or are unfamiliar with how e.g.
channels, notifications, and mentions work, please read through this short guide:
[Tips för Microsoft Teams](files/teams-tips.pdf). In order to switch between
different teams faster, change your settings to display your teams in the left
sidepanel.

## Course Team
When you are admitted to the course you will automatically get access to the
course team, *TDDE42 VT23*, in Microsoft Teams. Here you will find the following
channels:
- **General**: Will be used for course information.
- **Lectures**: You can find the meeting for all the lectures here.
- **Looking for lab partner**: Use this channel if you are looking for another
person to work with during the course.
