The answers are also published "as is" and are in most cases only sketched out by previous instructors. For full points, you were often also required to flesh out and motivate your answer, i.e., show that you are not just guessing it. Furthermore, the final answer may depend on your assumptions and interpretation of the question (within certain limitations), and which you have also stated in your answer.
