TDDE32 Professionalism in Computer Science

Submissions and feedback

Submissions are of two types:

  • Preparatory material, hand-in's, for seminars that must be submitted before the seminar.

All assignments for seminars are submitted on the submissions section in LISAM. Instructions for each seminar is found on the course format web page.

  • An essay submitted in three steps with peer-review feedback.

The first submission of the essay is discussed during seminar 2, in smaller groups, which also introdcues the concept of peer review. Bring your essay to that seminar. After having submitted the manuscript on essay sections 1 and 2 you will receive individual feedback from the teacher on Academic writing.

The second and third submissions of the essay are given feedback from your group members and are submitted in the Collaborative workspace in LISAM, i.e. they shall not be submitted on the submissions section in LISAM.

    1. First submit to your groups folder in the Collaborative workspace on LISAM.
    2. Then give feedback to the other students in the group where studenti (i =0..n-1) reads essays from studenti-1 modulo n and studenti+1 modulo n.
    3. Use the the grading criteria when giving feedback on the essay sections.

    4. Revise the version of the essay sections and submit the revised version on the Collaborative workspace.

You will receive individual feedback on content from teachers after the second submission, i.e. sections 1-4.

The final submission of the three essays, the version after revisions from the third submission, is, however, to be submitted on the LISAM submissions pages, through URKUND. URKUND is a program that detects plagiarism.
