Mar. 26, 2020  Welcome to the course!

The course will start on Monday (30/3) and, given the current circumstances, we will do it as a distance-learning course. Nonetheless, unless specifically announced for particular sessions, we will stick to the original schedule. Hence, the first session is the introduction lecture on Monday at 10:15. This lecture will be given by Patrick Lambrix.

The main tool that we are going to use for all the sessions is Zoom. Therefore, your first task, before the lecture on Monday, is to make sure that you can attend meetings in Zoom with your computer. For a description of how to get started with Zoom (including links to short Youtube videos), please refer to the following Web page: https://www.student.liu.se/itsupport/zoom-student?l=en

The Zoom meeting rooms that we will use for the lectures are announced in the timetable section of this Website. You can connect to the meeting room already now if you want to play around a bit with Zoom.

In addition to the lecture sessions, the course schedule contains lab sessions and teaching sessions. We are still working out the final details of these sessions.

Finally, please note that it is the first time we are giving the course in this way. Please bear with us! There may be glitches and we cannot guarantee that everything runs smoothly. Nonetheless, we try our best, and we are very excited and curious to see how it goes!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me.
