TDDE79 Imperative programming in C++

Book Recommendations

There is no required reading for the course in terms of books, but we recommend getting a C++ book for reference. If nothing else, you can bring it to the exam, since you are allowed to bring a C++ book to the exam per the allowed aids page.

Our recommendation is C++ Primer (5th edition) by Lippan, Lajoie and Moo, but you can get any book you want. However, make sure that the book covers at least the C++11 standard. For example, the books C++ Primer Plus (6th edition) and Professional C++ (2nd edition) both cover the C++11 standard.
