Labs
General Lab Rules for Undergraduate Courses
The labs are to be done in teams of a maximum number of students indicated in the course information (here, 2).
You must naturally follow the regular general LiU and IDA lab rules (see the examination page). Additionally, please adhere to all of the following rules or specifications of general rules:
- The lab assignments must be solved independently by each team.
- You are not allowed to give your lab results or lab reports to another team.
- You are not allowed to take, copy, or in any other way mimic other teams' lab results and lab reports.
- All team members must be active in all parts of the labs, including writing source code, testing, conducting experiments, writing lab reports, and during the lab examination. The examination is always based on individual performance.
Particular rules for TDDD25
- The use of all generative AI tools (including those integrated into text editors or IDE:s) are prohibited, except for uses explicitly allowed by the course assistant or examiner.
- In particular, note that questions regarding code, analysing code, or questions that may produce code in the response may NOT be asked.
- General conceptual questions regarding for instance concurrency or types of synchronisation mechanisms. bugs or locking may be asked. Examples in Python may not be requested. This is a delimiter of permissible usage. It does not constitute a recommendation to actually use such tools.
If you fail to follow at least one of the rules, you may be reported to the disciplinary committee at Linköping University.
