Goals

To broaden the knowledge in software engineering methods to more complicated industrial issues.
To broaden the knowledge in software engineering research.

Prerequisites

Basic course in software engineering theory and project, for example TDDC88 or TDDC93/TDDC02. Basic course in statstics.

Organization

Lecture series with guests.
Term paper seminars.
Tool investigations.

Contents

Requirements engineering, software maintenance, software reuse, software metrics, software cost prediction, formal methods, empirical research methods, process-supporting tools, professionalism and ethics.
