Sorin Manolache completed his PhD thesis, "Analysis and Optimisation of Real-Time Systems with Stochastic Behaviour", at the Embedded Systems Laboratory, Department of Computer and Information Science, University of Linköping, Sweden, in 2005. He obtained his Licentiate of Technology degree from the same university in 2002. (The Licentiate is a Scandinavian title, roughly equivalent to half of a PhD degree.)

His resume is available here.
