Goals
The goal is to build on and develop an understanding of form aspects that are specific to interaction design, that is, the interactive form. It is an opportunity to deepen our understanding of aesthetic concepts and theories for interaction design.
Prerequisites
Design or HCI background.
Organization
The course is proposed to be organized around a set of seminars based on a limited set of themes. Theme leaders will drive both reading and writing.
Contents
Depending on the themes decided we will deal with issues such as passivity-activity-proactivity, embodiment and action, social action and community, directedness and figure/ground, break-downs and shifts of focus, dynaimcs, sequences and flows, tempo and rhythm, choreography and notation.
