Lab 3: Deep Learning

Aim

In this lab, which is more of a short tutorial with questions, you will get some hands-on experience with deep learning. Deep learning is a recent branch of machine learing, and an important area of modern AI.

Preparations

This tutorial builds upon the machine learning lectures, in particular the basics of training via loss minimization, linear models and neural networks from the first lecture, as well as the deep learning lecture (in particular stochastic gradient descent and ReLU activation functions).
