Travelling By Train
Train travel (Svenska Järnvägen, http://www.sj.se/)
takes you to Linköping:
- from Copenhagen, about 4 hours
- from Stockholm, about 1.5-2 hours
- from Stockholm-Arlanda, about 2.5 hours
Travelling By Bus
SWEBUS, the swedish bus
company, offers daily trips to Linköping:
- from Copenhagen airport to Linköping central station
- from Stockholm to Linköping
- from Göteborg via Jonköping
Going from Central Station (and Central Bus Station) to B-house
If you end up at the central long-range bus station, walk down the hill
100m to the central station. In front of the central station, there is
the central train and bus station.
- From the central station, take bus
202, direction Lambohov to the University and exit at the second university stop

- Walk over the big parking lot in front of Zenit house
- Walk between B house and Zenit house
- Turn left and take entrance 27
- Go 50 meter and find lecture hall Visionen.
Travelling By Car
Linköping directly at the main motorway E4 from Copenhagen to Stockholm.
- Leave the motorway for the University at exit Linköping-West
- Drive straight-on to Valla Rondellen (Valla roundabout)
- Then right to the University.
- Take the middle entrance to
the university and park in the big parking lot in front of Zenit house.
- Walk between B house and Zenit house
- Turn left and take entrance 27
- Go 50 meter and find lecture hall Visionen.
Via Linköping airport:
- Fly SAS/Skyways via Copenhagen to
Linköping. If you take the flight over Saturday night, it will be
cheaper.
- Fly SAS/Skyways
via Stockholm-Arlanda, and take the train to Linköping
- Arlanda-Express
- Change to X2000 train in Stockholm central station
- Take a taxi to the University. Unfortunately, there is no bus connection. The taxi costs
about 200 SEK (22 Euro).
Via Norrköping airport:
Linköping can be reached via Norrköping (
SAS/Skyways)
also.
- Take a taxi to Linköping (talk to us about a fix price)
- Take a taxi to Norrköping central station
- Then via train to Linköping (20 minutes)
Via Skavsta (Nyköping) airport:

Nyköping-Skavsta airport
(Stockholm-NYO) from Frankfurt/Hahn, London-Stansted, Rome-Campiano,
Luebeck, Paris-Beauvais. RyanAir tickets usually cost less than 50
Euros per flight, in particular, if you book 4 weeks in advance.
- There is a bus from
Nyköping-Skavsta to Linköping central train and bus
station 6 times a day. The bus costs 130 SEK one way, 190 SEK roundtrip.
- From the central station, take bus 202 to the University and exit
