TDDE65 is the new course code for the course TDDC78 since 2024.

  • Research project assistant position available
    I am recruiting 1-2 LiU student assistants ("amanuens") 20%-50% for a large research project in distributed, parallel and heterogeneous computing for the edge/cloud continuum. The work (C/C++ programming, system administration, help with experiments) could be suitably combined with an internal master thesis project in the same topic area.

  • Avoid interactive shells on Sigma
    Based on our observations in recent lab sessions, we recommend not to use interactive shells. It has happened that some students could not execute their programs on our reservation due to others generously allocating resources to interactive sessions.

    The report on the mid-term evaluation of 29/4/2026 is now available here.

  • Make sure that you are properly registered on the course.
    Note that lecture notes will be made available electronically to registered participants only, and the NSC lab computers will only be accessible to registered participants.
    If you forgot to register, please contact the studierektor Martin Sjölund immediately.
    It is not possible to jump on the course after the first week.

  • The course web pages are being updated for 2026.

  • In 2024, the course code has been changed from TDDC78 to TDDE65.
