Research project assistant position available
I am recruiting 1-2 student assistants ("amanuens") 20%-50% for a large research project in distributed, parallel and heterogeneous computing for the edge/cloud continuum. The work (C/C++ programming, system administration, help with experiments) could be suitably combined with an internal master thesis project in the same topic area.

The introduction to NSC for our course will be held on Tuesday 1/4 10:15-12:00 in the room "Jupiter", entry 83 in the G-house at the southern end of Campus Valla, Olaus-Magnus väg. Follow the signs from entry 83.New compendium available
The Sep. 2024 edition of the compendium by C. Kessler, Design and Analysis of Parallel Algorithms: An Introduction, is now available for registered course participants on the handouts page.Make sure that you are properly registered on the course.
Note that lecture notes will be made available electronically to registered participants only, and the NSC lab computers will only be accessible to registered participants.

In 2024, the course code has been changed from TDDC78 to TDDE65.
