Goals
To support good design, it is important to understand the designers role, capabilities and limitations for producing good design. This course is an introduction to Design Cognition, Modeling of Design Work, and Creativity in Design

Prerequisites
Graduate student status or qualified undergraduate.

Organization
This course is a research seminar and it is taught at irregular intervals when there is an interest.

Cognitive models for design work, situated cognition, implications for design support, models for procedural design, creativity in design, computer support in design work.
