Mission Context

In any mission, there will often be cases where one can not depend on robust, continuous and accurate GPS signals. This may be due to a number of factors, but applies in particular to missions where UAVs are flying low within urban areas with building structures.

This mission tests a specific flight mode, that of landing autonomously using visual navigation and no GPS. For this functionality, the UAV (camera) servos on a man-made pattern. Both a spectator view and a camera view are provided in the video.
