A Behavioral-Level Testability Enhancement Technique
IEEE European Test Workshop, Constance, Germany, May 25-28, 1999
ABSTRACT
A testability enhancement technique for improving the testability of a behavioral-level VHDL specification is proposed. The technique is based on a set of transformations and the selection of transformations is guided by a behavioral-level testability analysis algorithm. The main advantage of our technique is that it can be used in the very early design stage, and it reduces the complexity of the testability analysis and enhancement tasks. Experimental results show the efficiency of our approach.
