I am currently working at the Machine Learning unit of
Division of Statistics and Machine Learning, Department of Computer and
Information Science (IDA). My research is focused on development of novel
models and tools for statistical machine learning in various applications,
including medicine, public health and telecommunications. I am a part of Swedish Digital Twin Consortium and also
a formal faculty of Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software
Programme (WASP). I am also a
member of the research environment Postmortem
metabolomics &AI funded by the Swedish Research Council.
I am doing teaching at different levels: bachelor, master, engineering programmes and supervise PhD students. Currently I also work as Department Coordinator of final degree projects at the Department of Computer and Information Science. I have also been working during many years as a program director for MSc in Statistics and Machine Learning.
Regarding my background: I was born in Crimea and then moved to Moscow where I got a master degree in Applied Mathematics with specialization System Programming. Later I got a PhD degree in Statistics at Linköping University.
