Reviewing schema
Compiler Seminar: Programming language design and implementation

We have 5 students in the course. We will review 10 papers. Every paper will be reviewed by 2 students. Hence, every student will write 4 reviews. Also, every student will give feedback to 4 reviews.

There are 2 rounds. In every round, 5 papers will be reviewed. Two students who are assigned the same paper are called peers of each other for this paper. Hence, each student has 2 peers per round.

First round (week 37+38):

Week 36

Introduction, distribution of papers

Week 37

Read your first and your second paper.
Write a review of your first paper, and send it to your peer for your first paper (cc course leader) by thursday 12:00.
Your first paper's peer gives you feedback (cc course leader) by friday. In the same way you give feedback to your second paper's peer (cc course leader).
You revise your review and send the final review to the course leader by tuesday of the following week.

Week 38

Write a review for your second paper and send it to your peer for your second paper (cc course leader) by thursday 12:00.
Your second paper's peer gives you feedback (cc course leader) by friday. In the same way you give feedback to your first paper's peer (cc course leader).
You revise your review and send the final review to the course leader by tuesday of the following week.

Week 39

Similar as week 37 with second round's papers. Note that there are new peers.

Week 40

Similar as week 38 with second round's papers.

Week 44

Monday 27/10: We rank the 10 papers based on your reviews. The best 5 papers are selected for presentation. Each student is assigned one such paper for presentation and one for opposition. All reviews for all papers will be made accessible to the participants.

Friday 31/10: Presentations with opposition. The schedule will be announced later.
