Resource Theory for Multi-Processors.
Room: ISY Seminar Room, Building B. Corridor C, ground floor.
Abstract: A theory on the resource utilization in microprocessors
is presented. The theory shows that automatic placement, duplication,
and other control can be used to implement microprocessors. It is not
necessary to adapt the program to the processor topology. Latency time
and and memory volume can be computed for any program using a number of
characteristic figures known for the program. The theory can be used to
optimize the design of microprocessors. The processors can be of fine or
coarse grain type.
- Evaluation of full scale industrial use of declaritive implementation
languages, in particular Erlang in Telecom
Applications (including Workshop April 96 in relation to CC'96).
