Poster Presentation

Every group have to develop a poster, which summarize the project work (use the project report as your inputs), and presents it during the poster expedition. This poster task will help students to develop their presentation skills, be presenting only the most important issues, within a limited time and space.
The poster and the poster presentation will be graded based on the following criteria:

  • Display attracts viewer's attention.
  • Words are easy to read from an appropriate distance (2-3 m).
  • Poster is well organized and easy to follow.
  • Graphics and other visuals enhance presentation.
  • The poster is neat and appealing to look at.
  • Content

  • Content is clear and easy to understand.
  • Purpose of model (question being addressed) is stated clearly.
  • I understand why someone might be interested in the project results.
  • Key simplifying assumptions are identified.
  • There is enough detail about the project (e.g., deliverables, cost, etc) for me to understand that the project is under control.
  • The approach taken is appropriate for the problem and technically sound.
  • Poster is free of unnecessary detail.
  • Conclusions are stated clearly.
  • Conclusions are supported by project results.
  • Presentation

  • Presenter's response to questions demonstrated knowledge of subject matter and project.
  • Overall, this was a really good poster presentation.
