Submissions

This is a summary of the submissions that you will make in the course. For detailed instructions, see the instructions for each respective seminar.

Seminar 1 (Fri w. 35/Mon w. 36)

  1. Before the seminar, submit your descriptions of design patterns to your assistant in UPG1.
    • How to submit: In pairs, through e-mail
  2. After the seminar, no submission required.

Seminar 2/Lab 1 (Fri w. 36/Mon w. 37)

  1. Before the seminar, share code and files on Gitlab for your part of lab 1 with your team as listed for the lab series (LAB1).
    • How to submit: In pairs, through Gitlab
  2. After the seminar, submit your finished lab report to your LAB1 assistant within a week after the seminar.
    • How to submit: In pairs, through E-mail referring to Gitlab

Seminar 3 (Fri w. 37/Mon w. 38)

  1. Before the seminar submit your summary and paper proposals to your UPG1 assistant.
    • How to submit: In pairs, through E-mail. Individual paper proposals identified in submission.
  2. After the seminar, no submission required.

Seminar 4/Lab 2 (Fri w. 38/Mon w. 39)

  1. Before the seminar, share code and files on Gitlab for your part of lab 2 with your team as listed for the lab series (LAB1).
    • How to submit: In pairs, through Gitlab
  2. After the seminar, submit your finished lab report to your LAB1 assistant within a week after the seminar.
    • How to submit: In pairs, through E-mail referring to Gitlab

Seminar 5/Lab 3 (Fri w. 39/Mon w. 40)

  1. Before the seminar, share code and files on Gitlab for your part of lab 3 with your team as listed for the lab series (LAB1).
    • How to submit: In pairs, through Gitlab
  2. After the seminar, submit your finished lab report to your LAB1 assistant within a week after the seminar, and demonstrate your solutions individually during the time in your schedule marked "Lab 3 demo session", or make individual appointments with your assistant on how to demonstrate your solutions.
    • How to submit: In pairs, through E-mail referring to Gitlab
    • How to demonstrate: Individually, during lab sessions or as decided with your assistant.

Seminar 6 (Fri w. 40/Mon w. 41)

  1. Before the seminar, share individual paper drafts with your team as listed for the lab series (LAB1). Review two to three other papers from within your team, so that all papers are reviewed by at least two other individuals. Bring reviews to seminar.
    • How to submit paper drafts: Individually, available to other students in your teams two days before the final seminar.
    • How to submit reviews: Individually, available to other students during the final seminar.
    • Submission to your assistant Submit paper drafts and reviews to your UPG1 assistant.
  2. After the seminar, no submission required.

Final submission

  1. How to submit Through Urkund, to Ola's Urkund e-mail address.
  2. When to submit 2017-10-24, the last day of the re-exam period in January or the last day of the exam period in June.
  3. What to submit A 5-7 page IEEE-formatted paper on the effect of design patterns on certain software qualities, as described on the page Term papers. Also, a list of changes should be added to your submission to describe your improvements since the draft submission.
