The Leonardo Computation System

Leonardo is an integrated computation system in the sense that it provides support for both the development and the use of software systems in a wide range of application areas. Its development started in March, 2005, based on the experience from previous generations of systems in the CAISOR suite of projects.

The separate Leonardo website contains both publication links and actual system contents, and is being built up as an integrated part of the total Leonardo configuration. Please refer to it for additional information about Leonardo.

In our project suite, Leonardo replaces the Software Individuals Architecture (SIA) as a platform for applications, and it has inherited a number of traits from SIA. Several of the applications that were previously built on top of SIA have been transferred, or are being transferred to operate on top of Leonardo instead.
