CAISOR Research Agenda

About the Archive of Reports and Memos

This section contains systematic lists of the documents that can be accessed by links from the webnotes, besides articles that are listed under the 'Articles' item in the top-level menu, and webnotes that are listed under the 'Index' item. In particular, 'Academic Memoranda' are those documents that are not presentations of research results, but which address other topics that are of interest for a professional reader in our field, for example, proposals and progress reports from research projects.

Also, 'hypernotes' are documents that are similar to webnotes in the sense that they are only published as parts of the present website structure, but they differ from webnotes by being done as pdf documents with an article-like graphic appearance. They are used when the text is longer than one or two pages, or when special graphics is needed e.g. for formulas.

Finally, we list documentary memos from some of our research projects. By this we mean memos that document the process and the intermediate results within the project, for example, test suites of data, results of test runs, and of course documentation of software. These documents are not to be seen as articles; instead, they provide information that serves to validate and to illustrate the contents of the articles that are produced from the same projects.
