Prometheus Project

Prometheus was a EUREKA project (a type of European cooperation project where each participating country pays its own way) in the area of information technology for automobiles. Our interest in the project concerned high-level vechicle autonomy. The entire Prometheus program ran for seven years, but we only participated extensively during the first half. At the halftime control station, the directors of the Swedish branch of Prometheus decided to reorient the activities towards very short-term goals, at which point we preferred to withdraw except for a minor continuing participation.

This work was done within the RKLLAB group.
