KR for Positions of Aligned Vehicles

The project addresses the problem of knowledge representation and reasoning about the positions of road vehicles that are characterized as being located in front of, behind, or sideways to each other, possibly in sequences of several vehicles, and admitting for vehicles or vehicle aggregates of widely differing size. Both static situations and scenarios involving change of relative position are being addressed.

This Ph.D. project is in progress. Some intermediate results are reported in the articles listed below.
