CAISOR Research Agenda

The CAISOR Agenda

The CAISOR agenda is the Combined Agenda for Information Analysis, Software Systems, Open-Access Publishing and Knowledge Representation which defines a number of interrelated research and development activities at the following institutions in Sweden:

• Linköping University (Linköping), Department of Computer Science, Cognitive Autonomous Systems Laboratory (CASL).
• KTH - Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Entity for Scientific Information and Learning, Division of Publication Infrastructure.
• Linköping University Electronic Press
• Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) (Stockholm).

The agenda includes activities in the following areas. For each area there is a short description that can be accessed by clicking the respective link below, or in the menu to the left. Each short description also contains a link to a separate hyperpage (i.e., bundle of webpages) that provide more detailed information.

• Knowledge Representation Framework (KRF), the basic representational system for the agenda.
• Analysis and Development of Electronic Publishing Techniques (ADEPT), addressing open-access publishing, novel peer review methods, publication of research data, and technical aspects of open-access knowledgebases.
• Information Analysis and Knowledge Acquisition (INKA), addressing methods for the development of the contents of knowledgebases.
• The Leonardo Project and Explorative Software System (LEONARDO), addressing a new approach to the overall design of software systems that is based on the Knowledge Representation Framework
• Methodology of Research and Dissemination of its Results (MORADOR), providing the methodological basis for some of the projects in the agenda.
