Abstract:

An object configuration description provides a set of spatial constraints between the objects. In this paper, we use a two-dimensional diagrammatic representation for reconstructing an object arrangement. The constraints are given as binary object position relations. The de scription might be incomplete. Reasoning provides all possibilities for the missing relationships. Our reconstruction process considers all these possibilities within a single reconstruction and produces a qualitative abstract map of the described configuration.
