How to prepare your contribution after it has been accepted

This page contains information for authors that have submitted a paper to the AIJ and had it accepted.

First of all, congratulations to having had your paper accepted! This will be a very effective way of making your research results known, and it will be an important item in your CV. In order to get the best possible value of this achievement, it is important to attend carefully to the various aspects of the final preparation of your work for publication.

We request you to prepare the following material representing the final version of your paper:

• Latex sources of all files, text, tables, figures, etc. (Latex is preferred but if you are using another document preparation system then send the corresponding source information from it).

• A postscript or PDF file of the entire paper, as generated from the Latex sources (or corresponding) and the associated files.

• Electronic annexes in final form, if applicable.

• The following bibliographic information:
  • Title of paper
  • Names of all authors
  • Specify which of them is the corresponding author
  • Address and Email of corresponding author
  • Number of pages of the generated postscript file
  • Number of tables
  • Number of figures
  • Three to ten keywords for your paper
  • An abstract.
  Also, specify if any of the figures needs to be in color. Please send this information in plaintext (.txt) form, not in .doc, .ps, or any other enriched format.

All this information shall be sent to us at aij@ida.liu.se, preferably as a zip-encoded attachment to an E-mail message. The bibliographic information may be sent either as a text file among the other files, or be included in the covering E-mail.

If the zipped file is very large (more than 10 MB) then please contact us in order to consider ftp transmission instead.

After final editorial checkout, we will forward your article to our publisher, Elsevier. They will in turn contact you concerning the copyright agreement.
