Collaboration

The department maintains a long record of cooperation with corporations, government agencies and local organisations. Among the activities that link the department to the business community and the society one can mention:

• Cooperation with companies on research projects
• Education of Industrial PhD students (employed externally)
• Continuous education for engineers in the industry
• Information exchange with schools and the teaching community
• Acting as experts and members of advisory boards of government agencies
