The NordSec workshops started in 1996 with the aim of bringing together researchers and practitioners within computer security in the Nordic countries. The theme of the workshop has been applied security, i.e. all kinds of security issues that could encourage interchange and cooperation between the research community and the industrial/consumer community.
NordSec 2006 is organized by Linköpings universitet.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to the following:

The workshop will consist of paper sessions, a special session for student papers and invited talks.
*Note: At least one author of each accepted paper must register to the conference on or before the deadline of 20 September 2006.
Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors has published elsewhere or has submitted in parallel to any other conference or workshop with proceedings. Accepted submissions may not appear in any other conference or workshop that has proceedings. The paper must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, or obvious references. It should begin with a title, a short abstract, and a list of key words, and its introduction should summarize the contributions of the paper at a level appropriate for a non-specialist reader. The paper should be at most 12 pages including the bibliography, using 11-point font and reasonable margins. Submissions not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits.
Papers must be submitted electronically using our submission site. Submissions must conform to this procedure and be received by June 10, 2006, to be considered. Late submissions and non-electronic submissions will not be considered. Authors unable to submit electronically should contact the Program Chair by June 10, 2006.
Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to authors by August 28, 2005. At least one author of each accepted paper must register to the conference on or before the deadline of 20 September 2006. Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference.
Selection for presentation at the workshop and publication in the proceedings will be based on originality, contribution to the field, and relevance to the workshop.
Proceedings will be available at the conference. Instructions about the preparation of a final proceedings version will be sent to the authors of accepted papers. The final version of the accepted papers will be due on September 20, 2006.
