Research profile

My research focusses on on-demand HTTP-based Adaptive Streaming (HAS). I am interested in developing new techniques to improve content delivery for HAS. I am also interested in developing tools and protocols required for the next generation of streaming services.
Thus far my research has covered areas such as proxy-assisted delivery of HAS videos, prefetching strategies for interactive branched videos and techniques to prefetch the most likely set of related videos in a way that is beneficial to the currently played video. My Masters thesis involved simulated performance evaluation of an OpenFlow controller using network traces. This work was published in ICC 2014.
