Peter Bunus' primary interest is in investigating model-based techniques for system engineering. His research philosophy involves tackling practical problems that are relevant and important to the current issues in model-based systems research and propose foundational solutions to them for good impact. Currently, his research is focused on modeling techniques, modeling language development, and model-driven engineering with direct applications to diagnostics and automated program and model verification.
