The MDA laboratory works with the next generation computer systems
and human-computer interfaces, with particular emphasis of solutions
for healthcare environments, mobile, and demanding work
environments.
The research activities include a number of project in several
areas. The most projects are aimed at computer-based mobility,
flexibility and efficiency in work. Our current research topics are:

HCS division is being reorganized, which means that
people from the
IxS group and parts of
CSELAB will be added to form a
larger and stronger laboratory. This change will strengthen the research by combining the design
research performed by IxS with other research directions, such as
health informatics. The research in emergency management and command
& control from CSELAB will be added to on-going activities in the
decision-support area. Furthermore, research in neural networks, with
applications in cyclone forcasting, from CSELAB will be added to the
lab.
