My research in interaction design has a background in human-computer interaction and social computing. The focus is on design methods, professional vision, repertoire, and representations in design and it includes sketching, enactment, patterns, personas and scenarios. Another strand of my research is the role of judgment of goodness in design considerations, and models of use-quality and usability. Other strong interests are tools for design of interactive systems, socio-cultural and phenomenological theories of cognition and interaction, and qualitative methods in design research.

I work as lecturer in interaction design at the Department of Computer and Information Science at Linköping University and at the School of Communication, Technology and Design at Södertörn University College.
