Reviewing schema
Compiler Seminar: Programming language design and implementation

Principle: We have N students participating in the course. We will review 2N papers, see /home/chrke/CSEM2004papers. Each paper will be reviewed by 2 students. Hence, every student will write 4 reviews. Also, every student will give feedback to 4 reviews.
There are 2 rounds. In every round, N papers will be reviewed. Two students who are assigned the same paper are called peers of each other for this paper.

First round (week 36-39):

Instructions, first round:

First week (36): Read your first and your second paper.

Second week (37): Write a review for your first paper and send it to your peer (cc course leader) by the end of week 37.

Third week (38): Send feedback to your peer (cc course leader) for the review you received. Write a review for your second paper and send it to your peer (cc course leader) by the end of week 38.

Fourth week (39): Give your peer feedback for his second review. Revise your reviews and submit them to the course leader by end of week 39.

Instructions, second round:

Analogously to first round, with weeks 40-43, third and fourth paper, and papers 7 to 12 respectively.

After the reviewing phase:

Short ``PC meeting'' ?/11:
We rank the N papers based on your reviews. The best 6 papers are selected for presentation. Each student is assigned one such paper for presentation and one for opposition. All reviews for all papers will be made accessible to the participants.

Presentation session ?/11:
Presentations with opposition. The schedule will be announced later.
