Programming of parallel computers - methods and tools
"Students graduating with a competence in engineering software
for parallel systems
will have a distinct advantage in the work force over those who do not."

Final lab demonstration opportunity 2012
For those of you who missed the lab deadline but are almost finished with the labs, we have scheduled a single opportunity for demonstrating your lab code to your lab assistant on friday 24 august 2012, 10:15-12:00 in room SU04/06 (IDA).
Please note that there will be no further lab assistance, neither in person nor by e-mail, and that the above session is for lab demonstrations only.
Exam review session 20/6 12:30-13:00 in room John von Neumann, IDA, for the TDDC78 exam of 20/6.
Use this opportunity to inspect your exam and ask the correcting assistants if anything should be unclear.
After this review session the exams will be archived in the IDA student expedition in the E-house where you can inspect them later on request.
Lecture notes for M. Kupiainens lectures are now available on the handouts page.
The summary of the muddy-card evaluation of 18/4/2012 is now available.
The lab session (Grupp C by Lu Li) originally planned for thursday 29/3 has been moved to 27/3 kl 17-19. Only one of the rooms currently listed in the schedule will actually be used.
Make sure that you are properly registered on the course.
Note that lecture notes will be made available electronically to registered participants only, and the NSC lab computers will only be accessible to registered participants.
If you forgot to register, please contact the studierektor Patrick Lambrix immediately. Do not wait - at the moment, the course is almost full!
The web pages are being updated for 2012.
- The former sister course TANA77 (Programming parallel computers, scientific computing) at the mathematics department does no longer exist. We still cover parallel scientific computing in TDDC78, but the TANA77 labs are no longer offered. Former TANA77 students with unfinished labs please contact Henrik Branden (MAI). or Marco Kupiainen (MAI).
