Dr. Calin Curescu received his Ph.D from Linköping University in September 2005 and held a lecturer position with the Real-time Systems Laboratory, Department of Computer and Information Science, Linköping University, Sweden, until July 2007.
The research interests of Calin Curescu include specification and enforcement of quality of service (QoS) architectures in network environments. During his PhD work he focused on adaptive algorithms for price-based resource allocation in wireless networks. He is also interested in efficient online methods to capture user-level QoS requirements and cross-layer implementations of QoS-aware resource allocation.
