Organization

The course consists of 12 lectures (Fö), together with 2 lessons (Le) and 10 two-hour lab sessions (La), as well as the elaboration and presentation of a report.

The course gives, in total, 5 points (7.5 ECTS)
You will get 1.5 points for the examination, 2 points for the labs, and 1.5 points for the report.

The course language is English.

The recommended literature is as follows:

• Wayne Wolf: "Computers as Components. Principles of Embedded Computing System Design", Morgan Kaufmann/Elsevier Publishers, 2005.
• Peter Marwedel: "Embedded System Design", Springer, 2nd edition, 2006.

Examination

The written examination will be held on the 10th of March 2007, 8:00 - 12:00
