Computer Networks and Distributed Systems

The course "Computer Networks and Distributed Systems" (TDTS04) is worth 8 ECTS credits:

• 3 credits based on the assignments/labs (hands on part), and
• 5 credits based on the the final exam (theory part).

The course is typically offered in January-March each year.

Course goals

The course will cover some basics on the important topics of computer networks and distributed systems. A description of the course goals can be found in the course syllabus.

Prerequisites

Please see the course syllabus. Note that we also will assume that each student have fundamental programming skills and can develop their own programs.
