Finishing TDIU25

If you have been registered in TDIU25 and have some parts left, whether the exam (TEN 1, 2hp) or the summaries/assignments (UPG2,2hp), then you should complete the missing parts according to the information in this page.

Groups

Please send me (i.e., Ahmed) an email if you need or want to register to one of the lessons' groups. You will need to register if you have not solved enough TDIU25 problems or if you did not get an article summary accepted (see below).

In the email, do state what you want to complete. I will add you to some group in a first come first served basis so that we keep the number of students per group similar among the groups.

Observe that there is a limited number of places.

Examination

For the summaries and assignments (UPG1: 2hp):

• Solve 8 problems: Either you had solved 8 or more problems in TDIU25, or you need to solve 8 TDIU11 problems according to this year's setting (and hence you need to register to a lesson group by sending me an email). If you want to collect bonus points for the exam, then you will need to solve 8 of this year's problems (even if you had solved enough problems previously). You will then get an exam bonus point (though with a maximum of 6 points) for each 4 problems you solve in addition to the required 8.
• Pass the article summary assignment: You will have to get a summary accepted for one article (either article 2 or 3). Observe that you need to follow this year's deadlines for the corredponding articles.

The exam (TEN1:2hp):

Requirements to get credit: You pass the final written exam of TDIU11. Exam assignments will be at a level similar to the preparation assignments (a mix of some easy and several challenging questions).

Frequently asked questions:

• Q: I have solved "n" problems in TDIU25, with "n < 8". Is it enough that I solve "8 - n" problems to pass the assignment part?
• R: No. You need to solve "8" of this years problems.
