TDDI09 System installation: Examination

You will be graded based solely on your lab work. All members of the group will receive the same grade. This course is graded pass/fail only.

Lab reports

Each lab specifies what you need to report. You are expected to follow these instructions to the letter.

You are required to demonstrate that your systems work as expected. At the minimum you need to show how your system is configured (and you are expected to be able to explain any aspect of the system configuration) and show that the system works (the test cases you create as part of the work should help here).

You will be given 45 minutes to complete the demonstration. In order to complete the demonstration in the time allotted you will have to plan the demonstration in detail (don't forget to rehearse). You also need to ensure that all group members understand all aspects of the system, so they can answer any questions that may arise during the demonstration.

If you are unable to complete the demonstration satisfactorily in the time allotted, you will not pass the course!

The following criteria will be used (roughly) to judge your work:

  • Have all exercises been completed as specified?
  • How close to production quality are the solutions?
  • How good is the quality of answers to theoretical questions?
  • To what degree do all members of the group demonstrate understanding of the course topics?
