2017‑02‑28  Re-submission in March

Re-submissions of reports will be possible March 15. We will grade re-submissions already submitted only after that date.

2016‑11‑10  Re-submission in April

Hi! Re-submission of reports will be available April 21, the last day of the re-exam period for the second part of fall.

2016‑11‑10  Submission instructions clarified

The course description is updated with clarifications on how to submit answers to questions before each seminar: individually or in the pairs that you collaborate with to write your thesis chapters during the course.

2016‑11‑08  Groups and topics online

You can now find a list of WebReg groups and topics here. Make sure to that each one in the WebReg group (individual or pair writing a thesis together) should create a Gitlab project for your theses, and add all other students as collaborators as well as your teacher in the course (Ola, Aseel or Jonas).

Use the video tutorial as guide.

Finally, make sure to follow the instruction and note all the required reading, apart from sections of the Master's thesis you will read, until the first seminar. Note that you will have to bring reading material electronically (not on a smartphone) or physically to the seminar, as well as means with which you can take notes during your discussions.

We will unfortunately not be able to use LISAM for further submissions in the course, as there are administrative issues that prevent us from using LISAM for submissions. We have therefore updated the course description with the information that you should make submissions by sending an e-mail to TDDD89@ida.liu.se with "SE 1 A1" for submissions pertaining to seminar 1 in group A1, and so on.

2016‑11‑04  Welcome to the new course edition!

Welcome to the new edition of TDDD89, and all material should now be updated for this year's edition. The presentations from the first two lectures have now been published on the course web.

2015‑11‑09  Groups and topics online

You can now find a list of WebReg groups and topics here. The first subgroup in each WebReg group (individual or pair writing a thesis together) should create a Gitlab project for reviewing the published thesis that pertains to your whole group, and add all other students as collaborators, including your teacher in the course (me, Aseel or Johannes).

Also, add all members of your group as team members in your own Gitlab projects that correspond to your thesis projects, including your teacher in the course.

This is important to make sure that you can discuss specific issues pertaining to the theses that you read and make the comments you give and receive count.

2015‑11‑06  Lecture 2 online

The slides from lecture 1 have now been published in the lectures section.

2015‑11‑02  Lecture 1 online, added links

The slides from lecture 1 have now been published in the lectures section, and it also contains a link to where you may do matchmaking to find someone else to do thesis work with in the course. Furthermore, I have updated some links to University resources on plagiarism and copyright and link to the Gitlab project that you may copy the structure from in your own projects.

2015‑10‑28  Updates

The course starts next week, and the material for the course is currently being published. Stay tuned!
