As notified on email earlier, extra time is scheduled:
Monday November 23 15-17 in SU15..18 (original lab) Work and demo of lab 7 (only Mati and Jonas)
Monday November 23 15-17 in BL33 (same time as original lab) Extra repetition lesson (read below) (Klas)
Monday November 23 17-21 in SU04-06, SU17-18 (new time) Work, Questions and demo of ANY lab (Klas, Mati and Jonas)
The slides for lecture 3 was slightly revised (the failsafe reading part and some minor corrections)
The examples in lab 3 was corrected.
Information how to compile several files was added to lab 4.
The STONE information section was updated with how to unlock quizzes.
The same information was added to the FAQ.
Lecture 1.2 slides was added.
An example of how formatted input works was added to the slides section.
The section in the lab (lab00) instructions describing how to prepare and demonstrate labs was rewritten (added yesterday).
When the schedule say "LA" you have STONE lab with supervisor available. When your schedule is empty you have STONE lab whithout supervisor. This apply until you are done with all your STONE quizzes.
The supervisors are there to help you when you have a problem. Do not hesitate to ask. The supervisors will move around in the lab rooms, but you may have to actively go find one of us to get help (unless your friend can answer).
Since we have a limited number of computers and supervisors everyone can NOT come on all supervised STONE labs (LA).
Read the schedule and decide which 5 (FIVE) different supervised labs you want to attend. "Tickets" for each 2-hour lab will be distributed on the lecture tomorrow.
If you read this on the homepage and did not receive a mail you should prefer times later next week, as your registration seems late. Hopefully you fixed it later next week and have all passwords then.
STONE password will be generated for all registered students late this night or early this morning.
If you did not receive one after the lecture tomorrow, please follow the instructions on the course homepage.
|23/8||Course start 2009|
The first introduction lecture is Friday 28/8 followed by the first introduction "lab" to our computer system (STONE). It is very important to be registered and have your computer username and password ready. If you do not yet have your account you can not attend the "lab".
