In order to clarify the relationship between the lectures and the labs, we have created a map of TDDD24, which shows an overview of the dependencies among the lectures and labs. Please note that the labs often require self studies in addition to the lectures and that some of the lectures cover material that is generally useful for web programmers, but not necessarily used directly in one of the labs of this particular course.

There will be no lecture on February 7. This is a reserve lecture slot, which is not needed. The next lecture will be on Monday February 11 at 13.15-15.00.

There seems to be a problem with accessing the Subversion repositories. Specifically, commits fail with a permission-denied error. We are working with the system administrator to fix this problem. In the mean time, please proceeded with the lab work without version control until the access problem is solved.

Due to the popularity of TDDD24, we will get additional resources for accommodating more students. This means that all the students who have expressed interest in taking the course will be able to do so. The administrators are working to register those who signed up. The registration will show up in the student portal and, a day later, in the webreg system, which is now open for lab sign up until Friday January 25.

If you are interested in taking this course but are not registered, there is a list where you can sign up to express you interest in following the course. Note that we cannot promising anything to anyone at this point. We just like to how many students are interested and their names and e-mail addresses. The list is located on a bill board right opposite to the office of the course assistant.

We have been getting several questions from students who are not registered for TDDD24 if they can take the course anyway. The answer is that this course is full. The course has 128 registered students and it is staffed accordingly. However, if it turns out that some of the registered students do not start the course (i.e., do not sign up for the labs before the deadline) there might be an opening for unregistered students.
