The lab occasion at 15/2 will be supervised, while the lab at 26/2 will be un-supervised. However, Anna will visit the lab at 26/2 at 9 in the morning to answer questions (on both labs) and look at demonstrations (of lab 1).

We have a new lecturer in authentication and biometrics - Amund Gudmundson Hunstad from FOI (Swedish Defence Research Agency). The following lectures have been removed 8/2 10-12 and 28/2 13-15. (Note: This was additional time planned in case lectures nedded to be moved.) Lecture material for all lectures on network security is now posted on the lecture page, since a few days ago.

New lecture material is posted on the literature page. the instructions for lab1 are now online. This lab has recently been subject to major updates. Make sure to read the description on the lab page!

The deadlines for the project have been posted (only for period 1 - deadlines for period 2 will be posted during spring). The instructions for the firewall lab are now available.

This course contains two optional labs. Completing the labs in time will reward you with additional credits on the exam (valid for all three exams during 2013). More details on deadlines and lab rules are found on the lab page. If you want to do the labs, sign up in Webreg at latest January 17.
