TDDC64 Interaction Design

The student will, in this course for the Graphic Design and Communication study programme, acquire knowledge in design methods and design theory. The emphasis is on sketching and methods in interaction design, and reflection supported by theory. The course covers, among other things, personas, ideation, prototyping, and testing. It also covers the theoretical foundations for the student to be able to:

  • conduct an interaction design process with a user perspective;
  • plan and describe a design process;
  • give an account of concepts, perspectives, processes, techniques, and methods used to solve tasks and problems in the design work;
  • critically discuss others' design methods and design solutions.
