Course Objectives

After the course students will have the basic knowledge about software and hardware aspects of IT-infrastructure. The aim is to get insights about the infrastructure of IT; Computer architecture, Operating systems and Computer networks.

Organization

The course consists of a series of lectures that covers basic terminology and concepts. The students also perform a study in which they are investigating an IT-subject and present their results in a written report.

Course contents

Lectures covers mainly three areas: Computer architecture, Operating systems and Computer networks. In the course also a project work is included.
