Goals
The course ( TDDB38,
TDDI60)
gives theoretical and practical knowledge about principles
for
storing and retrieving of information in modern database systems.
Course overview
You need to register for the course in order to:
- get a database account: without this account you
can not do the labs
and pass the course.
- belong to the mailing list used by the teachers to
send important
notifications.
You must also sign up for the labs using the on-line lab system until Aug. 31, 2004.
Scheduled Times:
- TDDB38: 13 lectures, 11 lab sessions.
- TDDI60: 12 lectures, 9 lab sessions.
Lectures and labs are 90 minutes each.
Lectures preparation: Read the advised
chapters and print lecture material (if any). Follow the lecture link
to the left.
Examination:
- Mandatory labseries including a database mini
project.
